Two other British colleagues arrived two days later and spent a day on visiting their partner school – Gimnazjum no 2 in Elblag.

We all enjoyed beautiful weather, our company, great hospitality of Ewa and Agnieszka and we made concrete plans for the future cooperation.

In January 2011, the representatives of the Polish partner institutions went to Lincolnshire for a second study visit of our project.

On the first day we visited three primary schools and lower secondary school: Halton Holegate Church of England in Spilsby, St. Helena’s Church of England in Willoughby, Town Road Tower Road Primary School in Boston and Haven High Technology College in Boston.

We observed different lessons : science, mathematics, music, French. We also had opportunity to watch an educational project in the field of science. All lessons were conducted as hands-on education classes with different experiments.

The next day we visited the Center for Environmental Education in Freiston and took part in the activities prepared by our colleagues for the students. We observed birds, different creatures living in the pond and had a walk through the salt marsh to the seashore.

The last day we spent in Lincoln, where we got to know working methods in the On Target Study Centre. This Center helps children with learning and behavior difficulties by using unconventional though successful methods.
